According to rumors, Brandon Carlo was on the trade block and would be moved to the New York Rangers.
The trade would send Brandon Carlo for the New York Rangers Captain Jacob Trouba, and Matt Rempe.
According to Jimmy Murphy of Sick Pod it's bogus:

The Bruins would send Brandon Carlo, John Beecher, and a 2027 7th round pick for the Rangers Captain and Rempe the enforcer.
However in the long run given how Trouba decided to axe the trade to Detroit, this was pure speculation and fantasy from a site looking for hits and clicks.
Trouba is the Rangers Captain and his wife, Kelly's residency ends in 2025, of which he may be available then.
Until then, we have to settle for Nikita Zadarov, which in the long run doesn't sound bad after all.
This trade was pure conjecture and speculation.
