This season, David Pastrnak has really been surprising people. Last night he did just that once again, and the NHL made a shocking announcement regarding him as he made some history.

Pastrnak is making a very good case for himself to be the next captain of the Boston Bruins, as he has been carrying the Boston Bruins all season long.
He currently sits top 10 in basically every offense stat, and what he is doing on a terrible Boston Bruins team is absolutely mind blowing this season, just take a look at these stats:
Last night David Pastrnak once again found a way to amaze people as he made some NHL history, and the NHL took some time to recgonize this following their game with an announcement.

David Pastrnak Makes NHL History

After another multi-point game for Pastrnak, he ended up recording his 100th point of the season. Pastrnak finished the game with 1 goal, and 2 assists, and the assist he had to hit 100 points was an insane no look pass to Morgan Geekie, for him to collect his 30th goal of the year which is a new career high.
Look at this beauty:
With that, David Pastrnak becomes just the first Czechia born player in NHL history to record three seasons in a row with 100 points or more.
Jarmoir Jagr previously held the record when he had back-to-back 100-point seasons, but now Pastrnak holds it. The fact he did this on a Boston Bruins team that is currently in the bottom five of the league as well is insane.
David Pastrnak become the first Czech-born player in NHL history to record 100 points in three consecutive seasons. Of note, Jaromir Jagr only had one set of back-to-back 100-point seasons (1997-98 & 1998-99).
Pastrnak continues to impress everyone, and it just makes you think how much better his season could have been if the Bruins actually had a good team this year.
