Recent insight has unveiled the Boston Bruins' next steps in naming their new captain, and it's shocking.
The Boston Bruins departed with their fan-favourited captain, Brad Marchand, during the NHL Trade Deadline in March, which concluded in the veteran landing in Florida, where he quickly won his second Stanley Cup, but this time, as a Panther.
Yet, following Marchand's departure and until now, the organization has still yet to name a new leader to wear the 'C' on their jersey.
Due to delay, many speculations and rumours suspected that the Boston Bruins were going to name veteran forward, David Pastrnak, as the team's new captain, once the organization made their jersey changes this offseason.
However, a recent announcement has been revealed, and the Bruins' front office has a different plan in mind.
