Boston Bruins David Pastrnak Issued A Shocking Statement On Alex Ovechkin Breaking The Goal Record

After breaking Wayne Gretzky's goal scoring record today, Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak issued a shocking statement regarding Alex Ovechkin.
Ovechkin ended up officially beating Wayne Gretzky's goal record today when the Capitals took on the Islanders, and a bunch of NHL players around the league ended up congratulating him on this accomplishment.
Of course Boston Bruins star forward David Pastrnak had to make sure that he put his respects in as well for
Ovechkin.
Like many other NHL players,
Pastrnak had a congratulatory message for Ovechkin who broke the record scoring his 895th career goal, in the same amount of games that Wayne Gretzky did.
Pastrnak Makes A Shocking Statement On Ovechkin Breaking The Goal Record
In Pastrnak's video, he stated that he doesn't think anyone is going to beat his new record, take a look:
«It's an incredible accomplishment. I'm so happy I could lace them up against you,» Pastrnak said, per team-provided video. «Watching you scoring all the goals, it's been an amazing treat to my career as well to play against you. I will never forget about Game 1, when you lined up next to me and I was looking so up high for you. So happy for you. I don't think anybody's going to be beating you.»
Many people stated this about Gretzky's record, and
Ovechkin has now beaten it, who is to say that we will never see anyone else break it?
Although it is super impressive what Alex Ovechkin has done, it's safe to say he is the best goal scorer the league has ever seen, but you can never say never.
It will be interesting to see how many career goals Ovechkin is going to finish his career with now.
