Boston Bruins fan favourite Milan Lucic officially signs another contract in the NHL

An announcement was made late last night revealing that former Boston Bruins fan favourite Milan Lucic might be making a return to the NHL.
It was announced by St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager, Doug Armstrong that the St. Louis Blues have signed Lucic to a PTO.
Milan Lucic will attend Blues' training camp on a professional tryout, per GM Doug Armstrong.

The last time that Lucic ended up appearing in an NHL game was during the 2023-24 season, where he recorded just two assists in four regular season games.
Lucic ended up taking an indefinite leave of absence after four games with the Boston Bruins due to an altercation with his wife.
Later on, the 37-year-old ended up entering the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program.
Since then, Lucic has completed the program, and the NHL has reinstated him, making him available to sign another contract.
Lucic's wife, Brittnay has updated fans on how he is doing since then, and it seems like he has turned everything around.
