Boston Bruins Fans Worried Following Jeremy Swayman's Horrible Play During The World Championships

Just two days before the 2024-25 regular season began, the Boston Bruins signed Jeremy Swayman to a massive contract extension that isn't up until the 2031-32 season when Swayman will be 33-years-old.

During their previous game, Jeremy Swayman ended up starting for Team USA against Team Norway, and Swayman almost had one of the worst games in IIHF history.

Norway is known for being a bottom feeder team at the international level, but they somehow managed to score five goals on Jeremy Swayman. To make matters worse, they only had 18 shots on net.

Team USA ended up having a 5-1 lead that they saw vanish when Swayman allowed four unanswered goals go in.

In the game, Stian Solberg, an undrafted 19-year-old player who has never played in the National Hockey League ended up scoring three goals on Swayman.

This is not what Boston Bruins fans want to see with Jeremy Swayman, especially playing on a pretty decently stacked USA team. If he can't save the puck for them, how is he going to do it for the Boston Bruins?

Swayman has a lot of work to do, or else next year is going to be a very disappointing one for the Boston Bruins as well.
