Boston Bruins Head Coach Joe Sacco Confirms Starting Goaltender

Just like the previous two games, tonight is going to be a massive game for the Boston Bruins, and they have the perfect chance to try and catch up in the wildcard race.

The past two games, the Bruins have faced off against teams currently in the playoffs, but tonight will get the chance to faceoff against the 29th ranked team in the Buffalo Sabres.

If the Bruins are able to put together a good game, and get a win tonight, it will move them just two points out of a wildcard spot as they currently sit four points out.

Jeremy Swayman has been getting a bunch of starts for the Boston Bruins this season, and fans aren't too thrilled with how little of games Joonas Korpisalo has gotten.

Swayman has started 49 games for the Boston Bruins this season, with a 20-23-6 record along with a 3.00 GAA, and a .897 SV%.

Fans believe that giving Swayman this much of a workload has played a part in his performances during the year.

Well Joe Sacco confirmed that Joonas Korpisalo will be getting the start for tonight's game vs the Buffalo Sabres.

Before coming in, in relief of Jeremy Swayman on March 13th, Korpisalo has not played in a game since March 6th, where the Boston Bruins ended up losing to the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2.

Korpisalo has only started 19 games, and has a record of 10-7-2 with a 2.78 GAA, and a .896 SV%.
