Recent reports have suggested 6 players have been removed from the Boston Bruins lineup prior to the final cut off for the NHL trade deadline.

This year's trade deadline has been an unforgettable one, especially for the Boston Bruins.
They've traded unthinkable players, (Brad Marchand, Charlie Coyle, Brandon Carlo and Justin Brazeau) for a lump-sum of players in return.
Despite these unbelievable trades, it is not over yet, as reports claim an additional 6 players have been removed from the Boston Bruins' lineup.
Take a look:
«All returned to Providence!

-Matthew Poitras
-Vinni Lettieri
-Riley Tufte
-Patrick Brown
-Ian Mitchell
-Marat Khusnutdinov

All returned to Providence.»
Luckily, it has been confirmed that the organization has made this decision strictly for the AHL Calder Cup playoffs purpose.
At this point, the Bruins' AHL team, the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League, are showing much more promise than Don Sweeney's NHL club.
These Bruins players could not attend the playoffs if they were classified as NHL players, meaning this is strictly an on-paper transaction, and these skaters will remain with the club despite the 'sent down' title being deemed in the Bruins' fourth transaction of the day.
