Bruins Prospect Making A Big Name For Himself
The Boston Bruins ended up trading Charlie Coyle to the Colorado Avalanche, and in return the Bruins got prospect Will Zellers who has been making a name for himself, and Bruins fans should be excited about him.
Zellers is currently playing in the USHL for the Green Bay Gamblers and he has been putting up some insane numbers.
And he just recently made some history with the Gamblers as well, as on March 29th he went on to score his 42nd goal of the season, and set a new franchise high for the Gamblers for most goals in a single season.
Zellers then went on to score his 43rd goal of the season later on during the same game as well. He now sits at 44 goals, 25 assists, for 69 points in 48 games.
Basically averaging a goal per game is insane, and it's safe to say that Zellers can be an elite player for the Bruins one day if they develop him properly.
In his last eight games as well, Zellers has eight goals, and 11 points.
The Boston Bruins definitely have some solid prospects in their pipeline after being sellers at the NHL trade deadline, and Bruins fans should definitely be excited.
