As the Bruins hit the road for game three against the Panthers, the club announced they have recalled a player on emergency basis.
Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, April 20, that the team has recalled forward Oskar Steen from Providence on an emergency basis.
Steen appeared in three NHL games this season, recording one goal against the St. Louis Blues on April 2nd. The 25-year-old also skated in 64 games with Providence, collecting 14 goals and 17 assists.
What Does This Call Up Mean?
It still hasn't been revealed whether captain Patrice Bergeron travelled with the team to Florida or not but this may be a hint that he didn't.
