New details have emerged in the Boston Bruins potentially acquiring a former 25th overall pick this offseason, and it's surprising.
With this year's offseason nearing an end, there are still way too many notable unrestricted free agents (UFAs) left on the market.
While that's the case, there are still a few solid players available for the taking, who could easily bolster the Boston Bruins' roster.
And one notable forward that has been recently linked to being a potential candidate the Bruins take off the market this off season is Jack Roslovic.
The former Carolina Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic has shown he is capable of providing second-line offensive production throughout his NHL career thus far, and there is no question that the Bruins need more of that.
The Boston Bruins organization has already boosted their bottom-six this offseason, however, bringing in a player such as Roslovic could have the potential to bolster their middle six.

A bonus to acquiring Roslovic, is the fact that this forward is versatile, he is able to play both center and right wing.
So, if the Bruins did sign him, they would have several options to consider with him in the lineup.
He's shown to slot nicely on either the second or third right wing, but can also be a strong fit as a third-line center.
Within Roslovic's past campaign with the Carolina Hurricanes, he posted 22 goals and accumulated 39 points within 81 games, and he has shown he can provide solid offense play.
With all being said, on a short-term deal, Roslovic could be a great addition to the Boston Bruins organization if they take a shot at pursuing him.
