Brad Marchand's return to Boston now official: The date was just confirmed to the media

Today, the NHL released the official schedules for every NHL team, and the Boston Bruins have some important dates.
For the Boston Bruins, the first big date that was released was their first game of the year.
It was revealed that the Bruins are going to be taking on Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals for their season opener on October 8th.
The #Bruins open Oct. 8 against goal scoring king Alexander Ovechkin and the Capitals.
The following day, the Boston Bruins are going to hold their home opener against the Chicago Blackhawks on October 9th.

Brad Marchand's return to Boston confirmed
Brad Marchand will be officially returning back to Boston with the Florida Panthers on October 21st.
Brad Marchand and the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion #TimeToHunt will be at the #NHLBruins on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 7:30 pm.
Marchand and the Florida Panthers had a game against the Boston Bruins after he was traded to Florida, but Marchand was injured and did not play in the game.
This is going to be the first time he steps onto TD Garden ice since being traded at the NHL trade deadline last year.
