Don Sweeney Actively Trying To Get A Deal Done
What The Bruins have done so far.
The Bruins' season came to an end on April 30, marking the start of a series of minor transactions for the team.
They recently secured entry-level contracts for promising prospects
Mason Lohrei and
Matthew Poitras, while also extending the contract of 24-year-old goalie
Brandon Bussi for one season with a salary of $775,000.
Bigger moves are coming from Sweeney
However, it seems that more significant moves are on the horizon.
Trusted sources within the organization have revealed that General Manager Don Sweeney and Assistant GM Evan Gold have been actively engaging in trade discussions, tirelessly working the phones.
In their pursuit of deals, it is highly likely that defenseman Matt Grzelcyk will be the first player to be moved.
