The Bruins have been hit by the injury bug hard recently, with the biggest loss being Charlie McAvoy, but they have been forced to make some big lineup changes because of all the injuries.

Boston was already without some big-name players like Elias Lindholm and Casey Mittelstadt, and now the Bruins have lost another two key players to injuries.
In their most recent game against the Montreal Canadiens, the Bruins ended up losing both Charlie McAvoy and Viktor Arvidsson.
Meaning they are now down three of their top six players and their number one defenseman heading into their game against the Hurricanes tonight.
With this, the Bruins have made some changes to their lineup.

Bruins make big changes to their lineup

Earlier today, the Bruins announced that they placed Arvidsson and Mittelstadt both on injury reserve.
They then followed that up by announcing both Blumel and Tufte were recalled from the Providence Bruins.
Along with that, it looks like Jokihraju is going to be entering back into the lineup tonight in place of McAvoy, paired on the top line with Zadorov.
Tufte is taking Viel out of the lineup on the fourth line, and Blumel is getting a real good opportunity by taking Arvidsson's spot on the Bruins second line.
Take a look at the Bruins lines:
