Boston Bruins head coach Marco Sturm provided some new details regarding Charlie McAvoy's situation after his injury in their previous game and has confirmed his status for tonight.
After taking a slapshot to the face in their most recent game against the Montreal Canadiens, McAvoy ended up
getting some testing done.
Marco Sturm was hopeful that McAvoy was going to be able to travel back to Boston with the team.

McAvoy did travel back to Boston with the team, which is a good sign, especially considering how bad it originally looked.

As expected, Sturm confirmed that McAvoy is not going to be in the lineup tonight whenever the
Bruins take on the Hurricanes.
Along with that, he stated that McAvoy is seeing some doctors today, but there is no definitive update on his situation.
