Boston Bruins complete an official four-player roster transaction following recent injury news

The Bruins have had trouble with injuries this season, and today they have announced a 4-player roster transaction due to recent injury problems.

Recently, the Bruins lost Charlie McAvoy and Viktor Arvidsson to injuries in their previous game against the Montreal Canadiens.
Well, today the Bruins have made an official move with one of those players.
According to a recent report, the Bruins have placed both Viktor Arvidsson and Casey Mittelstadt on injury reserve.
Along with that, defenseman Jordan Harris was just placed on long-term injury reserve after undergoing surgery not long ago.

Bruins recall two forwards

The other day, there was speculation that two players were going to be recalled from the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.
Well, today that was confirmed whenever the Bruins announced that along with placing Mittelstadt, Arvidsson, and Harris on injury reserve, they have recalled both Matej Blumel and Riley Tufte from the American Hockey League.
Bruins have placed Viktor Arvidsson and Casey Mittelstadt on injured reserve and Jordan Harris on long-term injured reserve.

Matěj Blümel and Riley Tufte have been recalled from Providence.
The Boston Bruins currently sit in first place in the Atlantic Division and are taking on a really good team tonight in the Carolina Hurricanes.
This is going to put their depth to the test tonight.
