After Don Sweeney's comments regarding the direction the Boston Bruins are going to take at the NHL trade deadline this season, David Pastrnak finally spoke out on how he feels about it.
Earlier in the week, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney met with the media, speaking about multiple concerns regarding the Boston Bruins, and probably the biggest question fans have had all year, which direction they are going to take at the NHL trade deadline.
Don Sweeney basically revealed that the Boston Bruins are going to be sellers without officially saying they are going to be sellers.
Don Sweeney said repeatedly that the Bruins will be taking a more «cautious» approach this trade deadline. Said he doesn't expect to be «overly aggressive.»
Marchand stated that regardless of the direction the team is heading, he wants to play the rest of his career with the organization.
«I've always planned on playing here (Boston) my entire career,» Marchand said earlier today. «That hasn't changed. They're aware of that. I think everyone's aware of that. It's a gift to be playing for this team and I take a tremendous amount of pride in it. So yeah, that's always been a goal.»
