Don Sweeney And The Boston Bruins Officially Miss Out On Another Head Coach
A recent announcement from the Vancouver Canucks organization has revealed that General Manager Don Sweeney and the Boston Bruins have officially missed out on another head coach.
Multiple reports revealed that Tocchet has signed a five-year, $25 million deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.
Sources say #Flyers are closing in on hiring Rick Tocchet as their next head coach. Not official yet and still steps to go in the process, but definitely trending as if it will get done in short order.
Rick Tocchet will be the next head coach of the Flyers. Sounds like the deal is in the range of five years, $25 million total.
Just a couple weeks ago, Mike Sullivan was a top candidate for the Boston Bruins head coaching position as well, but the
Boston Bruins missed out on Sullivan as well as he signed a deal with the New York Rangers.
Now, they have officially missed out on another head coach.
