Don Sweeney just confirmed it for Marco Sturm and the Boston Bruins

Today, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney officially introduced Marco Sturm in as the new head coach of the Boston Bruins.
After having a very disappointing 2024-25 season, the Boston Bruins made some changes, and one of them was firing head coach Jim Montgomery early on into the season.
Right after Montgomery was fired, the Boston Bruins appointed Joe Sacco as the interim head coach.
Once the season ended, Don Sweeney revealed that Joe Sacco was going to be a candidate for the full-time head coaching position, but ultimately they chose to go a different direction, and Sacco took a job with the New York Rangers.
Today, the Boston Bruins were holding a introductory press conference for Marco Sturm, and it's now been confirmed.

Don Sweeney Confirms It For Marco Sturm
On June 5th, the Boston Bruins announced that Marco Sturm was going to be the new head coach of the organization, but it wasn't clear when a press conference was going to be held.
it was later revealed that it was going to be held on June 10th (today), and now the Boston Bruins have officially welcomed Sturm in as the new head coach.
