Insider Shares Potentially Shocking News on Linus Ullmark
One of Boston's postseason downfalls was the poor play of Linus Ullmark but as Bruins fans know, something was ailing the Vezina front runner.
Injury Confirmed?
NHL insider Kevin Weekes reported what we all suspected regarding Ullmark, but the extent of his potential injurie(s) are what is most surprising.
Weekes shared the following on Twitter earlier this afternoon:
''Like all teams ; players grit it out to play through major injuries in the Playoffs. My sources tell me soon to be Vezina G Ullmark was playing through a debilitating & painful injury that limited his mobility and technique.''
If what Weekes is reporting is true, having Ullmark playing through a ''debilitating and painful injury'' makes zero sense for Jim Montgomery. Especially when Boston was so successful at rotating though he and Jeremy Swayman this season.
The 29-year-old went 3-3 against the Panthers, with a 3.33 GAA and a .896 SV%.
Bruins media was quick to show their displeasure, if this news is true.
