After defeating the Ottawa Senators in the first-round, the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to faceoff against the Florida Panthers in the second-round, and game 1 was just revealed by the NHL.

After game six between the St. Louis Blues, and the Winnipeg Jets, where the Blues ended up forcing a game 7 by winning 5-2, Sportsnet ended up revealing when round-two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs will take place for the Leafs and Panthers.

Round-Two Was Just Confirmed

Game one between the Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs is set to take place on Monday night, and it's going to be a late game with it starting at 8 p.m. ET.
Thursday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs finally closed out their series against the Ottawa Senators by defeating them by a score of 4-2. This is the second time in three seasons the Leafs have been able to make it to the second-round, after they did it back in 2023 knocking out the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Florida Panthers look like a scary team, especially after acquiring ex-Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand during the NHL trade deadline, and are the defending Stanley Cup Champions looking to win it in back-to-back years.
Game one between the two teams is going to be the Leafs latest game of the postseason. In the first-round, they ended up playing one 7:30 p.m. ET, all other games had a 7 p.m. ET start time.

Why The Late Start For Game One

The reason the game is being pushed back to an 8 p.m. start time is most likely due to the NHL Draft Lottery taking place on Monday night, and will begin at 7 p.m. ET.
After beating the Ottawa Senators, the Leafs took Friday off as a rest day, and will now prepare to take on Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers in which will be their toughest challenge so far.
