Jeremy Swayman takes a shot at head coach Joe Sacco and the Boston Bruins

After Jeremy Swayman won gold with Team USA at the 2025 IIHF World Championship, he ended up taking a shot at Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco and the organization.
Swayman had a stellar World Championship for Team USA and led them to a 1-0 overtime win against Switzerland. It was the first time in 92 years that USA won this event, and afterwards, Swayman took a shot at Sacco and the Bruins after a terrible season.
It took them awhile, but Jeremy Swayman ended up helping Team USA break their terrible streak at IIHF tournaments. it's definitely not the top award in international hockey, it is still a big achievement for many players that weren't able to compete for the Stanley Cup this year.
USA entered the tournament as underdogs, they weren't complete underdogs, but they also weren't as stacked as teams like Canada, who surprisingly got eliminated from the tournament by Denmark in what could go down as one of the biggest upsets in history.
It may not be a huge deal for many, but for some players this tournament was nice to be able to catch a much needed breath of fresh air, and that's exactly what it was for Jeremy Swayman.
After having a terrible 2024-25 season, this is something that Swayman needed to boost his confidence.

«I tell you what, this tournament and this group rejuvenated me as an individual,» Swayman admitted after the title ceremony, per NHL.com. «I gained so much more confidence. I found my game again. I was happy again. I just learned so much.

The Bruins are just hopeful that he can have a bounce back season after having one of the worst of his career.
Swayman finished the year with a 22-29-7 record along with a 3.11 GAA, and a .892 SV%.
