The Boston Bruins are expected to undergo a major identity shift under Marco Sturm's leadership
It was confirmed earlier this week that the Boston Bruin officially hired Marco Sturm as the franchise's 30th head coach, and it has been revealed that this new bench boss is expected to hearken back to what the team was formerly known for during their Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron years.
That being said, the Boston Bruins are expected to route back to the franchise's roots by becoming a strong defensive focused team.
In a recent Bruins Beat podcast, Evan Marinofsky unveiled that he anticipates a strong defensive team under Sturm's leadership.
