New York Islanders trade hard hitting defenseman to the Boston Bruins: A turn of events has been reported
The Boston Bruins have been linked to a hard hitting defenseman from the New York Islanders in Alexander Romanov.
Players the Boston Bruins are looking at are JG Pageau, Alexander Romanov, and
Noah Dobson.
Flyers and Bruins are among teams looking at Alexander Romanov as new Islanders GM Mathieu Darche continues to improve his team.
On the other hand, the New York Islanders have shown a lot of interest in the Boston Bruins 7th overall draft pick.
I reported last week that Boston was one of the teams that has inquired about #Isles
Jean-Gabriel Pageau. 7th overall (Boston's pick) is probably as far as James Hagens would go. Good work here.
A turn of events has surfaced though, as the Boston Bruins are now being advised to not pursue the Islanders hard hitting defenseman.
Bruins advised to stay away from Islanders defenseman
The Bruins have a pretty solid defensive core on the left side, and don't need to bring in another left handed defenseman, especially for their 7th overall pick.
in my opinion, Romanov to the Bruins rumors should be put to bed as they never made sense in the first place and make even less sense with the Lohrei extension. unless there is something we don't know your left side is locked up for the next 2 years.
If the Bruins are going to trade their 7th overall pick, they should be focusing on acquiring a top 6 forward that can make an immediate impact on the roster.
Do you think the Bruins are going to trade their 7th overall pick to acquire hard hitting New York Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov?
