The Boston Bruins had a terrible 2024-25 season, but Jeremy Swayman played a big part in that.
Jeremy Swayman and the Boston Bruins could not agree on a new contract during the off-season. When it was finally figured out, there was only two days until the regular season began.
Now there is a chance that the Boston Bruins opt to trade Swayman during the off-season.
Elliotte Friedman Reveals The Bruins May Trade Swayman
The Edmonton Oilers might have made a mistake not trading for a goaltender during the NHL trade deadline. They put their trust into
Stuart Skinner, but he has looked terrible during the playoffs.
The Oilers could be a team to watch out for if Jeremy Swayman is made available. He could become their true number one goaltender.
Another team that didn't do anything about their goaltending situation is the Carolina Hurricanes.
Frederik Andersen just went down with an injury during the first-round, and now their goaltending is going to be tested against the Washington Capitals.
The Hurricanes are a good team, but they aren't scary because of their goaltending situation. With how injury prone Andersen is, they may be interested in
Swayman as well if he was made available.
All year long the Philadelphia Flyers struggled with their goaltender. They finished dead last in the NHL in SV% with a .879%, and were 28th in the league with a 3.45 goals against average.
They will be looking to continue and progress throughout their rebuild this off-season, and making a move for a goaltender would make sense for the organization. Swayman could be their guy if they decide to make that leap.
