Reassigned: Bruins GM Don Sweeney Set To Complete A Roster Transaction With Fan Favourite Matt Poitras

Boston Bruins General Manager is reportedly set to reassign Boston Bruins fan favourite Matt Poitras during the Four Nations Tournament.
With the Four Nations Faceoff Tournament right around the corner, there is some speculation that the Boston Bruins may reassign Matt Poitras back to the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.
Earlier in the season, the Boston Bruins weren't happy with how Matt Poitras was performing, and after just 23 games in the NHL they sent Poitras down to the Providence Bruins in the AHL.
During his time in the American Hockey League Poitras caught on fire leaving the Boston Bruins no choice but to give him another shot in the NHL and he has been running with it ever since.
Poitras played in 23 games in the American Hockey League scoring eight goals, 12 assists for 20 points.
Since recalling Poitras, the Bruins have actually been putting him in positions to succeed in the National Hockey League, and he's been doing just that.
Matt Poitras was recalled by the Boston Bruins on January 14th, and since then he has picked up 7 points, all being assists in 11 games with the Bruins. In total this year he has 1 goal, 10 assists for 11 points in 25 games in the NHL.
Don Sweeney reportedly set to send Poitras back down to the AHL
With the NHL about to go on a two week break for the upcoming Four Nations Faceoff Tournament, there is a chance that Poitras could be sent back down to Providence so he can get some games in while the NHL is on the break.
Curious whether Boston can/would send Matt Poitras to Providence so he can continue to play during the 4 Nations break
This wouldn't be a bad thing for Poitras as he would be able to get more reps in, build his confidence more, and work on some parts of his game he needs to improve on.
I'm all for Matthew Poitras getting some more ice time and reps in Providence during the 4 Nations break
