A Bruins net-minder has allegedly requested a trade from the organization, and he is suggested to be departing from Boston this offseason.
The Boston Bruins organization hasn't had the best of luck with their net-minding scenario for the past couple years.
As former goaltender, Linus Ullmark, and the Bruins' current starting net-minder, Jeremy Swayman, were both seeking a starting position, during the 2023/24 NHL season.
This conflict ultimately concluded in Ullmark's departure from the Bruins organization, where he was acquired by the Ottawa Senators, as Boston couldn't offer him what he was in search for.
Now, it seems as though history is repeating itself, as the Boston Bruins' backup net-minder, Joonas Korpisalo, seems extremely frustrated that he is not starting enough games.
