The off-season has been pretty disappointing for the Boston Bruins, and many fans would agree, but Don Sweeney could swing a trade that would turn this off-season into a success, and ultimately save his job.
Marco Sturm use to coach him, and will now be his coach once again with the Boston Bruins this time, but the Bruins are still missing a piece in the top-six.
Arvidsson will fill a spot in the middle-six, and are banking on him being able to help them on the power play, but adding another top-six player would help them make it back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs once again.
Despite needing a top-six player, the Bruins need a top center, and they could kill two birds with one stone by trading for Minnesota Wild forward, Marco Rossi.
Rossi is a restricted free agent, and there has been some tension boiling over between the two sides over the past couple of months.
Rossi, 23-years-old, had a breakout season with the Wild, scoring 24 goals, 36 assists for 60 points in 82 games in just his second full season.
With the Bruins needing a top center, and a top-six forward, this would be the perfect player to go all out on.
Rossi also fits the Bruins plan as he is just 23-years-old, and would a player that would make an immediate impact on the roster, helping them become more of a contender then they are right now.
It's unclear what would go the other way,
Pavel Zacha's name has been involved in rumors over the summer so far, and there is a chance that him plus could be a return that makes this deal happen.
