Surprising development involving Brad Marchand heading into next season
In 2024 , Boston Bruins Captain Brad Marchand will hit a career milestone in the NHL.
He will join fellow Bruins legends such as Johnny Bucyk, Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara, and David Kjeci in this milestone.
During the Centennial Season, Captain Marchand joined fellow elite Bruins players in playing 1,000 games for the Bruins.
An astounding milestone and a true show of loyalty, and winning spirit.
In 1,029 games with the Boston Bruins, Marchand has 929 points and likely another 1,000 games on the horizon with the team.
He has evolved from a 4th line pest in the NHL to top-six goal scoring forward, but still a pest.
In 2023-2024 Marchand scored 67 points, the second 60 point season for the forward, and if he hits 71 points this season he could top 1,000 points in his NHL career.
It could also make a great argument for a Hall of Fame induction, and cement his legacy with the Bruins organization.
