The Boston Bruins have just released an announcement this morning regarding
Elias Lindholm, revealing the 30-year old will be departing from the organization this month to represent his country and will participate in this year's Ice Hockey World Championship, also known as
IIHF World Championship, for Team Sweden.
Elias Lindholm will be representing Team Sweden for the 2025 World Championship

Elias Lindholm will join Team Sweden at the upcoming 2025 IIHF Men's World Championship.
This original first-round pick (5th overall) was acquired by the Boston Bruins on July 1, 2024, and has accumulated 17 goals, 30 assists, totalling at a whopping 47 points within his 82 games with the organization.
He helped Sweden win silver medals at the 2012 World Under-18 Championship, the 2013 World Junior Championship, as well as a golden medial at the 2017 IIHF World Championship, and will be joining his country for yet another World Championship this year.
The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has been organizing the Ice Hockey World Championships since the 1920 Summer Olympics, that will begin on May 5 for this year's tournament.
The Boston Bruins players who will representing their country for this year's IIHF World Championship
However, Lindholm will not be the only Bruins participating in the tournament this year; Jakob Lauzon will be playing for Team Sweden as well.
Last but not least, David Pasternak will be the only Bruin representing Czechia with Team Czechia.
