Some new details have surfaced, and it seems like the Boston Bruins just won't have room for him.
They have Lindholm locked up in the top-six for another six years, and with Hagens expected to make the NHL not this season, but next season, there just isn't any room for Mittelstadt.
Mittelstadt's contract is set to come to an end after next season, instead of losing him for nothing, there is a good chance that they end up trading him.
