The Boston Bruins are entering a new era after trading a lot of key players during the 2024-25 NHL trade deadline, and now there are other players that could be on their way out as well.
Marchand, Coyle, Carlo, and Frederic were the biggest names the Bruins moved at the trade deadline.
Brad Marchand has been killing it with the Florida Panthers during the NHL Stanley Cup Finals scoring 20 points in 22 playoff games so far with 10 goals.
After the season the Bruins just had, it wouldn't be surprising if they continued to make some big changes in the off-season.
4 Players the Bruins could trade
Zacha is a top forward for the Bruins, which would be a risk if they did move him, but he is very appealing as he only carries a $4.75 million cap hit until 2026-27.
He played in all 82 games, where he regressed a bit scoring just 14 goals and 47 points with a minus-8 rating, but he has been a hot topic for the Bruins.
Korpisalo bluntly called out the Boston Bruins at the end of the season, as he was not happy with his playing time.
Because of this, the Bruins could look to move him, and it wouldn't be a big problem especially considering he only has a $3 million cap hit.
Sweeney made it clear that he wants to re-sign Morgan Geekie, but nothing is guaranteed.
Geekie had a breakout year, scoring 33 goals, and 57 points in 77 games, and he could want a big pay raise, something the Bruins may not be interested in giving.
There has been a lot of teams interested in Geekie, and if negotiations don't go according to plan, they could also ship him out in a trade.
