Top Head Coaching Candidate David Carle's Fate With The Boston Bruins Was Just Confirmed

With the Boston Bruins searching for a new head coach, David Carle who was considered a very top option for multiple NHL teams, fate has just been revealed to the Boston Bruins.
At the end of the year press conference,
Don Sweeney stated that the Boston Bruins are currently looking for a new head coach, and also stated that Joe Sacco will be a serious candidate for the full-time job as well.
David Carle is as impressive as it gets really, and now we have officially learned his fate.
David Carle's Fate With The Boston Bruins
It was revealed that David Carle is going to be staying in the NCAA with Denver Hockey. He has led them to two championships at the collegiate level, and has a very impressive record sitting at 179-74-17.
During the 2024-25 season, Carle had a record of 32-12-1 and ended up reaching the NCAA Frozen Four for the second year in a row.
Named the ninth Denver hockey head coach in program history on May 25, 2018, Carle was 28 years old at the time of his hire and was youngest head coach in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey. He first joined DU as a student assistant coach from 2008-2012 and later served four and a half seasons as a full-time assistant coach under Jim Montgomery (2014-2018), reaching two Frozen Fours and winning the 2017 national championship.
It's an understatement that he is a really good head coach, and unfortunately the Boston Bruins have missed out on another really good one.
