A trade between the Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche has just been proposed, and it would undoubtedly change things for Boston moving forward.
The
Boston Bruins are seeking to become a playoff team again this upcoming season, and in order for that to go as smooth as possible, the organization will need to add more scoring to their roster.
While the Bruins made sure to undergo a busy offseason, it seems as though their completed moves might not be enough for this Original Six franchise to make postseason contention for the 2025/26 NHL season.
With that being said, a recent trade pitch has surfaced by Heavy.com, which could evidently bolster the Bruins' offense.
Proposed deal sees the Boston Bruins acquire an extremely impactful forward from the Colorado Avalanche
A recent trade idea has surfaced by
Heavy.com that would see the Boston Bruins acquire
Martin Necas from the Colorado Avalanche in a blockbuster deal.
Take a look at the proposed deal:
«Bruins acquire:
Martin Necas
Avalanche acquire:
Pavel Zacha2027 first-round pick (Florida)»
This proposed deal would undoubtedly be a blockbuster one, due to the fact that both Colorado and Boston would swap out NHL forwards who could both benefit from a change of scenery.
Additionally, the Bruins would give up a first-round pick that they received from the Florida Panthers, the pick they achieved from the
Brad Marchand Deal.
Martin Necas could undoubtedly bolster the Boston Bruins' offense
Necas is entering his final year of his two-year, $13 million deal with the Avalanche, yet, his name has been looming the rumor mill for some time now.
This forward could, without a doubt, add some much-needed offense to the Boston Bruins' lineup, where he could be used as a top-line player.
Meanwhile, the Boston Bruins organization is in dire need to make something happen offensively, and one name that has also been circulating to be a potential trade candidate, is the Bruins'
Pavel Zacha.
This trade could solve the organization's uncertainty regarding Zacha, while adding a fresh talent to the Bruins' roster.
