Two players the Boston Bruins are reportedly set to trade

The Boston Bruins endured an unfortunate run this 2024/25 NHL season and are gearing up for what should be a very busy offseason for the team.

Due to the organization's intentions to redefine the team with a re-build, fans are expecting this franchise to an immense amount of changes to their roster and that experience a very active free agency.

However, given how this past season went, it would not be surprising if Boston also ended up moving out some of their players this offseason, and new insight has just suggested who Bruins fans can expect to be on their way out this summer.

A reporter, Michael DeRosa, with The Hockey News, revealed two Boston Bruins players fans can expect to see on their way to a new organization this summer.

This is not very surprising to most, due to the fact Korpisalo admitted his frusteration's regarding his limited ice time this season, and was notably unhappy about it.

Furthermore, with Jeremy Swayman being the team's starter, and having seven years left on his deal, an opening for Korpisalo to receive more starts is not so probable.

This being said, it would only make sense for the Boston Bruins to listen to offers for Korpisalo this summer.

Peeke is a less expected Bruin who may see the door this offseason. This right-shot defenseman will be entering he final season of his deal, and it is fair to question if he could be expendable for the right price.

It is also uncertain of whether or not the Boston organization seeks a future with this 27-year old as they continue to strive towards a strong re-build, and if the Bruins do not view him as a long-term player, we can expect to see him depart very soon.

The Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, and the front office have a lot to think about whilst in he midst of an important portion of the year, especially due to their intentions to completely re-tool the franchise.
