Worrying News Strikes Ex-Boston Bruin Brandon Carlo and The Toronto Maple Leafs Ahead Of Crucial Game 5

The Toronto Maple Leafs had the chance to sweep the Ottawa Senators in game four but ended up choking it in overtime.

A big reason for that was during overtime, the Toronto Maple Leafs ended up getting a 4-minute power play, but were without the services of former captain John Tavares, and it played a big part in why they weren't able to capitalize.

Tavares ended up leaving overtime just a couple minutes in after taking a massive hit from Senators defenseman Zub. He would miss the entire power play and some time after that but eventually returned.

There is a good chance if the Leafs had Tavares for the power play, the game could've had a different outcome than what it did.

Today, it was revealed that Tavares left due to concussion protocol, but ended up passing it and returning to the game.

With just a couple minutes remaining in overtime, the Ottawa Senators ended up scoring to force a game 5, but today at practice some worrisome news struck the Leafs.

At practice this morning, it was reported that Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll was not present due to being "under the weather".

Even though Woll most likely won't be starting game five, not having him on the bench would be a big loss for the Leafs entering game five.

Anything can happen during a game, and if Stolarz goes down with an injury, you would want Woll being the next goalie in.
