Colorado Avalanche goaltender Darcy Kuemper will not dress for game two of the Western Conference Finals against the Edmonton Oilers.
Kuemper pulled himself from game one, and nobody knew if it was because of injury or not, but he did not return. It was later revealed that the goaltender had blurry vision and was having difficulty tracking the puck.
Scary news after the injury he suffered in round one against the Nashville Predators when an errant stick went through his mask and caught his eye:
Apparently, though, it may be concussion-like symptoms bothering Kuemper after taking a shot in the mask Tuesday night.
Backup Pavel Francouz will start game two after he came in and allowed 3 goals on 21 shots in a wild 8-6 victory for the Avalanche in game one.
