A frustrating season and another frustrating result for Boston Bruins' forward Nick Foligno.
Foligno exited Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning and it seems we might not see him for awhile.
The B's big offseason signing took a very awkward fall in front of the Lightning net which saw his leg buckle and to make it worse Lightning dman Cal Foote fell on top of him.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy announced that Foligno will be getting an MRI done and is out for Tuesday.
The team will look at the results of the MRI and take it from there.
It definitely doesn't look good though.
"Foligno is out. He'll get an MRI done in Boston [on Tuesday] and then we'll have a better update once they take those pictures," said Cassidy. "He's played himself into a spot and he's kept his spot because of his play. Very simply put."
