The Boston Bruins host the Minnesota Wild tonight at TD Garden but they'll unfortunately be without a key piece and this time it's not COVID related.
Defenseman
Charlie McAvoy will be scratched tonight because of injury.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy told the media today that McAvoy is dealing with a lingering lower body injury and is out tonight while his status for Saturday is uncertain.
Cassidy added that the injury likely won't keep him out long term but no decisions have been made.
John Moore will jump into the lineup.
More details and full lineup to come later today.
