Brad Marchand is one of those NHL players that you love to have on your team but hate when he's the opponent.
As one of the most polarizing figures in the league, Marchand has earned such nicknames as ''pest'' or ''rat'' and he wouldn't want it any other way.
Apparently, Marchand's antagonizing ways started when he was a pitcher as a child. As per Matt Porter of the Boston Globe:
I had a fastball. I'd throw it as hard as I could. Spray and pray. I hit a lot of kids. Might have been on purpose. Might not.
Marchand missed the start of the season after double hip surgery, and even ''took it easy'' when he first came back.
Lately however, the veteran has turned it up with as many even-strength points in his last seven games as he did in his first 22. He is now up to 12 goals and 24 assists in 31 games.
This new story about the Bruins all-star winger comes as absolutely no surprise!
