Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand have been staples of the Bruins franchise for a long time now and have achieved incredible accomplishments together.
Their latest milestone occurred on Thursday night in Seattle in the Bruins 6-5 win over the Kraken.
Marchand and Bergeron combined for Boston's 4-3 goal late in the second while the team was shorthanded for the 32nd time in their careers.
That moved the Bruins duo into second place all time for teammates factoring in on shorthanded goals, trailing only Wayne Gretzky and Jari Kurri of the Edmonton Oilers (42).
It was Bergeron's 21st shorthanded goal of his career which moved him into a tie with Andrew Cogliano for second place among active players. Marchand leads that category with 33.
Bergeron and Marchand also sit one and two in all time shorthanded assists and points for active NHL players.
