Boston has signed this solid goaltending prospect straight from the NCAA

The 23-year-old just wrapped up another stellar campaign with the Western Michigan Broncos.
It was announced earlier today that the Boston Bruins have signed goaltender
Brandon Bussi to his first professional deal. The one-year entry-level contract will kick in for the 2022-2023 season and carries a cap hit of $825 000.
The 6'5'' goaltender will report to the AHL's Providence Bruins for the remainder of the current season however, as he has agreed to an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO) that will allow him to play.
Bussi spent the past three seasons with Western Michigan, playing in 77 career games in which he maintained a 46-25-5 record to go with a 2.61 GAA and a .910% save percentage.
The Sound Beach, New York native just wrapped up his best season so far, finishing with a 26-12-1 overall record, with a 2.55 GAA and .912% save percentage.
