We have now known for weeks that the Bruins are looking to add a defenseman to their squad.
However, the 23-year-old suffered an injury in his last game against the Bruins (ironically) after falling awkwardly and being hit into the boards.
Despite this initial 2- to 4-week time frame that was given for Chychrun to get back on his feet, the latest news seem to indicate that he could be back on the ice as early as this week.
For any Bruins fans who had given up hope that the young stud would make his way over to Beantown follwing his latest injury, there is still hope!
Guys with such high reputation as TSN's Pierre LeBrun and Darren Dreger wouldn't be bringing up the Coyotes blueliner's name if there weren't some serious talks going on right now.
You know what they say: where there's smoke, there's fire!
