It was quite an eventful night for Boston's forward on Tuesday.
Thanks to
Taylor Hall's brillant play, the Bruins managed to pick up two important road points in a
2-1 overtime win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
Hall was the main contributor behind the B's winning effort, contributing an assist on both of the team's goals.
On his first helper of the game however, the 30-year-old barely avoided what could've been a devastating injury. Standing beside the net, Hall almost got clipped in the neck by a falling opponent's skate.
The winger got stitched up on the bench and later returned to action. It was a good thing for the B's as he would set up
Matthew Grzelcyk's overtime game-winner.
Hall's second assist of the evening turned out to be an important one, as it was the 400th of his career.
The first overall pick of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft has now played in 740 career regular season games, registering a total of 240 goals and 400 assists. He currently sits second on the Bruins with 32 helpers this season.
