The NHL announced today that there will be some changes to jerseys for the 2021-22 season.
The much talked about advertisements will happen.
Jerseys will feature ads just slightly bigger than the patches worn in the NBA and similar to those worn in the AHL.
Some fans are extremely against the ads feeling that it disrespects the jerseys, especially those of the original six teams.
It's unknown if it'll be different sponsors from those featured on NHL helmets already or bring in new sponsorship relationships.
