Yesterday, the Minnesota Wild placed forward Tyson Jost on waivers, and it would almost be surprising if the former first-rounder didn't get claimed before 2 pm today.
And that's exactly what happened. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman shared the news:
Jost, who is now a member of the Buffalo Sabres, hasn't quite lived up to the hype after being selected 10th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in 2016. The 24-year-old has 47 goals and 65 assists in 354 career games with the Avalanche and Wild.
He also has just three assists through 12 games this season and is now joining a young, up-and-coming Sabres team, hoping to spark his offensive capabilities.
