The city of Tempe, Arizona held a meeting and vote last night to decide if they were going to move forward on the arena plans for the Coyotes.
«NHL commissioner Gary Bettman says he endorses the Coyotes' plan for a new arena in Tempe «without reservation» and if approved they will have to sign a document stating they're not allowed to move.»
Coyotes are proposing a 30-year non-relocation agreement as part of the new arena project.
The club announced the news this morning:
The NHL and the City of Tempe are officially moving forward with the new arena build to keep the Coyotes in Arizona.
So, they may not be moving anytime soon!
