There's some expected changes coming to the Boston Bruins before the 2018-19 season, while most were expected to be on the ice, we'll see some off the ice as well.
With David Quinn leaving Boston University to take on the head coaching job with the New York Rangers, the vacant BU gig could be filled by a piece of the Bruins staff.
Mike McMahon of the College Hockey News lists Bruins assistant coach Joe Sacco as a top candidate for the BU job.
Sacco played for BU in the 80's before joining the NHL and racking up 738 career NHL games.
The assistant coach joined the Bruins before the 2014-15 season and still holds the roll alongside Kevin Dean and Jay Pandolfo.
Sacco is a Massachusetts native and the BU job could be too good to pass up.
