The Boston Bruins will be going for it again next year and luckily they've started to see some of their youth come through as well.
One player who's starting to come into his own is forward
Trent Frederic.
Unfortunately for the youngster, he dealt with some obstacles this season which included a bout with COVID-19.
However the 23 year old mentioned to reporters this week that not only did he battle COVID but he also dealt with something that hit him even harder.
"I don't know exactly what (the illness) was. I had a fever in the 100s for a couple of days," Frederic said. It was worse than when I had COVID, to be honest."
Frederic signed a two year extension this offseason and even though he had a tough shot cracking the lineup at times, he should be close to a regular next season.
