The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney are looking to add to their blueline this offseason. While we've heard lots of chatter that the Bruins will make a major push for Ryan Suter, it seems he might be going a different way. According to one NHL insider, it's likely they'll land a different defenseman. Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman predicts that the Bruins will land 6'4 219lb Derek Forbort. The 29 year old is UFA and coming off a one year deal with the Jets that paid him $1million on the season. He can't provide the power play presence Suter could help with but would definitely bring a physical presence to the bottom 4.
